Taco Bell Quesarito: Is It on the Menu, Price and What's in It (2026)
Quick answer
The Taco Bell Quesarito is not on the regular menu as of late October 2026. Taco Bell's site marks it "not currently available" at the store we checked, and it is missing from the national Specialties list. Its last run started December 18, 2025, at $4.99, followed by a $4.99 Volcano Quesarito on January 8, 2026.

Does Taco Bell have the Quesarito right now?
No. As of late October 2026, the Quesarito is not on Taco Bell's regular menu. Its product page on tacobell.com says "This item is not currently available" at the store we checked, and it does not appear on the national Specialties list next to the Crunchwrap Supreme and Mexican Pizza.
The Quesarito has come and gone several times. Each recent return has been billed as limited time, at participating stores, while supplies last. So if you see it on a menu board, order it then, and do not expect it to stay.
We will update this page if Taco Bell announces another comeback. Until then, the full lineup of what you can order today is on the Taco Bell menu.
What is in a Taco Bell Quesarito?
A Taco Bell Quesarito is a burrito wrapped inside a grilled cheese quesadilla. In Taco Bell's December 2025 announcement, the inside held seasoned beef, seasoned rice, chipotle sauce and reduced-fat sour cream. The outside was a grilled quesadilla with melted cheeses and nacho cheese sauce.
The store product page describes the same build in fewer words: seasoned beef, creamy chipotle sauce, reduced-fat sour cream, nacho cheese sauce and seasoned rice. We could not find a current official calorie count, because the item is unavailable and its page shows no nutrition.
How much is a Quesarito at Taco Bell?
When it was last on the menu, the Taco Bell Quesarito had a suggested price of $4.99. That was the price for the December 18, 2025, return and for the Volcano Quesarito that followed on January 8, 2026. Taco Bell noted that prices vary by location and delivery costs more.
Real prices ran a bit higher in some places. Brand Eating reported paying $5.49 for a Volcano Quesarito in Los Angeles in January 2026. The same writer had paid $2.69 for an earlier lava-sauce version back in 2015, which shows how much menu prices have risen.
There was also a one-time deal. On December 23, 2025, the first 30,000 Taco Bell Rewards members who claimed it in the app could get a Quesarito for $1.
| Date | What happened | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 2015 | Earlier version with Lava Sauce (Brand Eating review) | $2.69 paid |
| Aug. 13, 2020 | Removed from menu boards; still orderable online and in the app | Not stated |
| Dec. 18, 2025 | Returns nationwide for a limited time | $4.99 suggested |
| Dec. 23, 2025 | $1 Quesarito Tuesday Drop for the first 30,000 Rewards members | $1 |
| Jan. 8, 2026 | Volcano Quesarito launches for a limited time | $4.99 suggested |
| Late Oct. 2026 | Not on the national menu; product page shows unavailable | Not listed |
Steak and chicken Quesaritos
Taco Bell's 2025 and 2026 announcements described only the beef Quesarito. We could not confirm whether steak or chicken was offered as a swap during the latest run.
On other items, Taco Bell's online menu sells paid protein add-ons. Slow-roasted chicken, for example, is a $1.70 add-on to Nachos BellGrande. If the Quesarito returns, open its customize screen in the Taco Bell app to see which proteins are offered and what they cost.
How to order a Quesarito, and what to get instead
When the Quesarito is on the menu, you order it like any other item: in the Taco Bell app, at the counter or at the drive-thru. In the app, look for it under Specialties. If it shows as unavailable, your store does not have it.
Until it returns, two current items come closest in spirit. The Grilled Cheese Burrito also has a grilled, cheese-crusted outside. It costs about $5.49 to $5.99 and lists 690 calories. For a cheaper option, the Cheesy Double Beef Burrito is $2.99 on the Luxe Value Menu with 560 calories. Compare every option in our Taco Bell burritos guide, or check the Crunchwrap guide for the chain's other grilled favorite.
