Chick-fil-A Hours: Open, Close & Lunch Times (2026)

What are the usual Chick-fil-A hours?

Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are open from 6 or 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Chick-fil-A's stated floor is 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and each restaurant can stay open later than that.

The hours also differ by how you order. Store pages list separate times for the dining room, carry-out, curbside, drive-thru and delivery. Two examples from the chain's own location pages in late October 2026:

• Plano Parkway, Texas: opens at 6 a.m.; dining room and carry-out until 9 p.m.; drive-thru until 10 p.m.; delivery until 9 p.m.
• Peachtree City, Georgia: opens at 6:30 a.m.; dining room, carry-out and curbside until 9 p.m.; drive-thru and delivery until 10 p.m.

In both cases the lobby closes an hour before the drive-thru, so if you are heading out late, plan on the drive-thru. Restaurants in malls, airports and on college campuses can keep different hours from street-side stores.

What time does Chick-fil-A open?

Chick-fil-A opens at 6:30 a.m. at the latest on a normal Monday through Saturday, and many stores open at 6 a.m. Breakfast is served from opening until 10:30 a.m.

What time does Chick-fil-A close?

Most Chick-fil-A drive-thrus close at 10 p.m., and dining rooms often close at 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Some restaurants run the whole building until 10 p.m., and a few in malls or airports close earlier.

Chick-fil-A does not run late-night or 24-hour service. Your last chance on Saturday also means your last chance for the weekend, because the stores stay dark until Monday morning.

What time does Chick-fil-A serve lunch?

Chick-fil-A starts serving lunch at 10:30 a.m., right after breakfast ends, and the lunch menu runs until closing. In other words, the lunch menu is also the dinner menu.

From 10:30 a.m. on, you can order the Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich lineup, Chick-fil-A nuggets, grilled nuggets, Chick-n-Strips, the Cool Wrap, salads and sides like waffle fries. Chick-fil-A does not serve lunch all day in the sense of a morning overlap: before 10:30 a.m., only breakfast items are on the board.

A few items cross over. Chick-fil-A's ordering data tags nuggets, the Cool Wrap, salads, fruit cups, Berry Parfaits, coffee, lemonade and shakes as all-day items, while sandwiches, fries and mac and cheese are tied to the lunch menu. Whether your store sells nuggets at 8 a.m. is up to that restaurant, so check the app.

Is Chick-fil-A open on Sunday?

No. Every Chick-fil-A restaurant is closed on Sunday, including the drive-thru, delivery and app orders. Founder Truett Cathy set the policy in 1946 so workers would have a day to rest, and the chain has kept it ever since.

Is Chick-fil-A open today, and on holidays?

Chick-fil-A is open today if today is Monday through Saturday and not Thanksgiving or Christmas Day. On other holidays, stores generally open but may run shorter hours.

Here is what Chick-fil-A's own help pages say about the holidays coming up:

• Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 26, 2026: closed at every U.S. restaurant.
• Black Friday, Nov. 27: a normal Friday on the schedule, though hours can be shorter.
• Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24: open, possibly with limited hours.
• Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 25: closed at every U.S. restaurant.
• New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, 2027: open, possibly with limited hours. When either holiday falls on a Sunday, stores stay closed.

Are Chick-fil-A delivery and catering hours different?

Yes. Delivery often stops before the drive-thru does, and catering needs to be ordered ahead. At the Plano Parkway store, delivery ends at 9 p.m. while the drive-thru runs until 10. At Peachtree City, both run until 10 p.m.

Catering follows its own clock. Chick-fil-A says every restaurant can fill a catering order placed 24 hours ahead, and many can do it with less notice. Pickup and delivery times must still fall inside the store's open hours, which is why Sunday catering means picking up on Saturday. Catering delivery minimums are set by each store; the two we checked asked for a $50 and a $300 subtotal. Delivery prices in the app or on third-party services can also be higher than counter prices.

How can you check a specific Chick-fil-A's hours?

The fastest way is the Chick-fil-A App or the store's page on chick-fil-a.com, which lists hours for the dining room, drive-thru, carry-out, curbside and delivery separately. Restaurants are run by independent operators, so hours can change for remodels, weather or local events.
