What Dairy Queen meal deals are running now?

As of Nov. 1, 2026, Dairy Queen's national deals are the $8 Meal Deal, a $2 Blizzard upgrade for that meal, and a Friendsgiving offer of two cupcakes for $6 from Nov. 2 to 29. DQ announced all three on Oct. 26, 2026, alongside its Holiday Cookie Swap Blizzard lineup, which runs Nov. 2 through Jan. 3.

Two fall promotions have ended. The $3 small DQ Coffee Cooler offer and the Halloween Spellbound Series both ran through Nov. 1, 2026. A $6.99 Chicken Strip Basket deal that DQ launched for football season on Sept. 1 was billed as limited-time, and DQ's October announcement no longer mentions it, so ask your store before counting on it.

Every offer is "at participating U.S. locations." Franchise owners decide whether to run a deal and can charge more in high-cost areas. The table below lists each offer with its dates and status.

What is the $8 Meal Deal at Dairy Queen?

The $8 Meal Deal is DQ's main combo: your choice of chicken strips or an Original Cheeseburger, full-size regular fries, a drink and a sundae. Through the holiday season, you can trade the sundae for any Blizzard for $2 more, including the new Peanut Butter Blossom Blizzard made with Hershey's Mini Kisses. DQ's fine print for the holiday offers says you need a DQ Rewards account to get the deal, and app deals can take up to 24 hours to appear after you sign up.

The value is clear when you price the parts. At typical menu prices, medium fries run about $3.39, a medium drink about $2.49 and a medium sundae about $4.19, which is about $10 before you add the burger or strips. Even if the deal's portions are smaller than mediums, $8 for a full meal with dessert beats buying the items one at a time.

One caution: national deals often don't apply at Texas DQs, which run their own food menu and specials.

Does Dairy Queen still have the $7 meal deal?

No. DQ's $7 Meal Deal ran from June 1 to June 28, 2026. It came with three chicken strips or an Original Cheeseburger, regular fries, a dipping sauce, a 21-ounce drink and a dessert, and you could upgrade to a small Blizzard for $2. By late October, DQ was promoting the same kind of bundle as the $8 Meal Deal.

The bundle's price has moved before. DQ ran a $6 Meal Deal with strips or a 1/3-pound double cheeseburger, fries, a drink and a small sundae, and a $1 Blizzard upgrade. If you see a $6 or $7 price on an old coupon page or menu photo, treat it as out of date unless your store confirms it.

Does Dairy Queen have a $5 meal or a 2 for $5 menu?

We found no current $5 meal or 2 for $5 menu in DQ's 2025 and 2026 U.S. announcements. In 2024, DQ stores advertised a 2 for $5 Mix & Match that let you pick two items such as an Original Cheeseburger, a small sundae, pretzel sticks with queso, 2-piece chicken strips, fries or a fountain drink, according to The Krazy Coupon Lady. That deal is no longer promoted nationally.

Some franchise owners run their own local bundles, so a store near you may still post one. Check the deals tab in the DQ app after choosing your store.

Does Dairy Queen have a dollar menu or value menu?

Dairy Queen doesn't have a national dollar menu or a standing value menu. Its value strategy is the meal deal plus app offers for DQ Rewards members. If you want something cheap without a deal, the lowest regular prices are on treats and hot dogs: a Dilly Bar runs about $2.29, a small vanilla cone about $2.59 and an all-beef hot dog about $2.99. A mini Blizzard costs about $3.99. Full prices for every item are on our Dairy Queen menu page.

Does Dairy Queen have a senior menu with prices?

Dairy Queen doesn't have a national senior menu or a chain-wide senior discount; we found none in DQ's offers or announcements. Because each DQ is run by a franchise owner, a local store may offer its own senior discount, so it is worth asking at the counter.

If you are looking for smaller portions at lower prices, these are the best picks at typical prices: a mini Blizzard for about $3.99, a small vanilla cone for about $2.59 (220 calories), a Dilly Bar for about $2.29 and a medium sundae for about $4.19. For a full meal, the $8 Meal Deal is cheaper than ordering a main, fries, drink and dessert separately.

What Blizzard specials does Dairy Queen run?

DQ's Blizzard specials change monthly. Right now, the holiday lineup brings the new Peanut Butter Blossom Blizzard and the returning Peppermint Bark Blizzard from Nov. 2 to Jan. 3, and the $2 Blizzard upgrade applies to the $8 Meal Deal.

The best Blizzard prices in 2026 came through the DQ app. Rewards members could buy one Blizzard and get a second for 99 cents from March 30 to April 26 and again from Aug. 3 to 30. In September 2025, members got a small Blizzard for 85 cents with any $1 purchase. DQ repeated the 99-cent offer twice in one year, so it is worth turning on app notifications. For regular prices by size, see our Dairy Queen Blizzard prices guide.

What deals do you get with DQ Rewards?

DQ Rewards is free in the DQ app, and most of DQ's sharpest 2026 deals were limited to members ordering through it. Examples: $1 off any Signature Stackburger from May 25 to 31, a free Dilly Bar with any $1 app purchase from July 13 to 19, and a free single Original Cheeseburger Stackburger with an app order of $1 or more from Sept. 14 to 18. Members also earn points on orders.

Sign up before a promotion starts, since DQ says new deals can take up to 24 hours to show up. Our fast food rewards apps comparison shows how DQ's program stacks up against other chains. Wondering whether a meal deal works at dinner? Our Dairy Queen hours guide covers deal hours.

Frequently asked questions

Does Dairy Queen still have the $6 meal deal?

No. Dairy Queen's $6 Meal Deal was an earlier version of its combo, followed by a $7 Meal Deal in June 2026 and the $8 Meal Deal DQ promoted in October 2026. The $8 version includes chicken strips or an Original Cheeseburger, fries, a drink and a sundae at participating U.S. stores.

Are Dairy Queen deals available in Texas?

Often not. Texas Dairy Queen restaurants run their own food menu through a separate operators' group, and many national DQ app deals and sweepstakes exclude Texas in their fine print. If you live in Texas, check the deals in the DQ app for your specific store rather than relying on national announcements.

Are Dairy Queen meal deal prices the same at every store?

No. Dairy Queen announces national prices like the $8 Meal Deal, but every offer is for participating U.S. locations, and franchise owners set their own menu prices. Expect to pay a little more in some high-cost areas. The DQ app shows your store's actual deal price before you order.

Does Dairy Queen have coupons?

Dairy Queen's coupons live in the DQ app as offers for DQ Rewards members rather than as printable codes. In 2026 they included 99-cent second Blizzards, free Dilly Bars and burger discounts. Offers can take up to 24 hours to appear after you join, and each one has its own dates and limits.

Does Dairy Queen have breakfast deals?

Dairy Queen has no national breakfast deal, since only some stores serve breakfast at all. Stores that do serve it set their own breakfast prices and specials, so check the store's page or ask at the counter. Our Dairy Queen breakfast guide explains which locations serve breakfast and what's usually on the menu.
