How much is a kids meal at Chili's?
A kids meal at Chili's costs $6.99, and that price was identical at all 20 mainland restaurants we checked in 20 states, from New Jersey to Arizona. The exception was a franchised Chili's in Mililani, Hawaii, where kids meals ran $9.99 to $12.99 depending on the entree.
The $6.99 covers the entree, one side and a kids drink, so most families pay no more unless they add extras. An additional side is $1.49, a Mini Molten Chocolate Cake is $5, and a full Molten Chocolate Cake or Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie is $6 more. A Shirley Temple adds 50 cents. Compared with the cheapest adult meal, a $10.99 3 for Me, a kids meal is $4 less. It also costs less than any adult entree on the menu; only sides, soups, salads and chips come in lower or about even.
What sides and drinks come with a Chili's kids meal?
Every Chili's kids meal includes one side. Fries are the default, and you can swap to corn, Mott's applesauce, a kid-size house salad, mashed potatoes or Mexican rice at no extra charge. Applesauce, corn and the small salad are the options if you want something other than fried food.
The drink is included too. Choices are water, Coke, Sprite, Dr Pepper, Minute Maid lemonade, Mott's 100% apple juice, milk or chocolate milk, and Chili's allergen guide lists both milks as 1%. Which Chili's kids meals avoid common allergens?
Chili's printable allergen guide, updated Aug. 4, 2026, has its own kids menu page. The grilled chicken entree, listed there as Grilled Chicken Bites, is the only kids entree marked for none of the major allergens the guide tracks. Kraft Macaroni & Cheese contains milk and wheat. The Cheese Pizza and Cheesy Chicken Pasta contain milk, wheat and soy, as do the Cheeseburger Bites. Crispy Crispers contain egg, milk and wheat.
For sides, applesauce, corn and fries list none of the tracked allergens, while mashed potatoes contain milk and soy and the side salad with ranch contains egg, milk and wheat. The guide did not list Kids Burger Bites or the Cheese Quesadilla separately, so ask about those. Chili's fries its food in shared soybean oil and uses shared equipment, and it says it cannot guarantee any item is allergen-free. Tell a manager about any allergy before you order.
