Wendy's Fries: Prices, Sizes, Calories & Loaded Fries (2026)

How much are Wendy's fries?

Wendy's fries cost about $1.79 to $2.19 for a junior, $2.49 to $2.80 for a small, $2.99 to $3.49 for a medium and $3.49 to $3.99 for a large. Those ranges are the middle half of Wendy's own pickup prices at the U.S. stores we checked in late October 2026.

The junior size is the one that comes in Biggie Deals, so pairing them with a small sandwich in the $4 Biggie Bites can save money. A Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger and junior fries bought separately cost about $4.78 to $5.78. In a regular combo, small fries are the starting size and you can pay more to go medium or large.

Per calorie, the large is the best buy, but it is also 470 calories, so size up only if you are sharing. The rest of the sides lineup is on our Wendy's menu page.

What are Wendy's fries made of?

Wendy's fries are natural-cut, skin-on potatoes cooked in vegetable oil and finished with sea salt. Wendy's markets them as Hot & Crispy Fries.

The full ingredient statement lists potatoes, vegetable oil (soybean, canola and/or cottonseed), modified food starch from potato, corn and tapioca, rice flour, dextrin, salt, leavening, dextrose and xanthan gum, plus a compound that keeps the color even. That starch and rice-flour coating is what gives them their crunch. They are fried in vegetable oil with hydrogenated soybean oil and an anti-foaming agent, then seasoned with sea salt.

Wendy's allergen data does not flag milk, egg, wheat or soy for plain fries. Breaded chicken can share fryer oil, though, and Wendy's says its tenders are cooked in the same oil as items containing wheat, milk and fish, so it does not promise any item is allergen-free.

How much are Wendy's Baconator Fries and Cheese Fries?

Wendy's sells three loaded fries: Baconator Fries for about $3.89 to $4.19, Chili Cheese Fries for about $3.69 to $4.09 and Cheese Fries for about $3.29 to $3.69. Each comes in one size.

• Baconator Fries top the regular fries with warm cheese sauce, shredded cheddar and Applewood smoked bacon. 450 calories, 14 grams of protein.
• Chili Cheese Fries add Wendy's chili and cheese sauce. 510 calories, 18 grams of protein, the most filling of the three.
• Cheese Fries keep it simple with cheese sauce only. 470 calories.

Does Wendy's have curly fries or Takis fries?

No. Wendy's only sells its straight natural-cut fries and the three loaded versions. Curly fries are an Arby's item, not a Wendy's one.

Takis fries were a limited-time item. Wendy's launched a Takis Fuego Meal in U.S. restaurants on June 20, 2025, with fries you shook in chili-lime seasoning in a tear-away bag, alongside a chicken sandwich made with crushed Takis Fuego chips. Neither item appeared on any of the 23 Wendy's menus we checked in October 2026. The same goes for the Bacon Pub Fries from the August 2026 fall menu, with beer cheese, cheddar and bacon: they were a seasonal item and were not listed in late October.

How can you get the most from Wendy's fries?

Order them with a Frosty for dipping, use Wendy's Rewards on them, or get them inside a bundle. Those three moves cover most of the value.
