What time does Wendy's stop serving breakfast?

Wendy's stops serving breakfast at 10:30 a.m. at most U.S. restaurants, and starts around 6:30 a.m. A few stores open at 6 a.m., and some mall, airport and Sunday schedules start later.

The 10:30 cutoff is when the kitchen switches over to burgers, chicken, fries and the Frosty. In Wendy's own ordering system, every restaurant menu is split into just two parts, breakfast and lunch, so once breakfast ends you are looking at the lunch menu for the rest of the day. There is no separate dinner menu.

Most Wendy's restaurants are run by franchise owners, and they can shift these times a little. That is why two stores in the same town can stop serving breakfast a few minutes apart. If you are cutting it close, open the Wendy's app and pick your store: if breakfast items still show up for a pickup order, the kitchen is still making them. Once they disappear, the store has switched.

Aiming to order by about 10:15 a.m. gives you a cushion. For store-by-store opening and closing times, holidays and lunch timing, see our Wendy's hours guide.

What is on the Wendy's breakfast menu?

The Wendy's breakfast menu has five groups: the Breakfast Baconator and French toast sticks, biscuits, croissants, burritos, and sides and drinks. Most sandwiches cost about $2 to $5.30 on their own.

  • Classics: the Breakfast Baconator, plus Homestyle French Toast Sticks in 4- or 6-piece orders.
  • Biscuits: Sausage, Egg & Cheese; Bacon, Egg & Cheese; Egg & Cheese; the Honey Buddy Chicken Biscuit (lightly breaded chicken with maple honey butter); a plain Sausage Biscuit; a Honey Butter Biscuit; and Sausage Gravy & Biscuit, which only some stores list.
  • Croissants: Bacon, Egg & Swiss; Sausage, Egg & Swiss; and the Maple Bacon Chicken Croissant.
  • Burritos: a sausage version and a bacon version.
  • Sides and drinks: Seasoned Potatoes in three sizes, Apple Bites, the Cinnabon Pull-Apart, orange juice, hot coffee and cold brew.

The table below lists typical prices and Wendy's own calorie and protein figures. Prices are the middle half of Wendy's pickup prices at the U.S. stores we checked in late October 2026, so your store may sit a little above or below. Wendy's also sells most sandwiches as combos with a side, usually Seasoned Potatoes, and a drink.

Which Wendy's breakfast sandwiches are worth ordering?

The Breakfast Baconator is the most filling sandwich, while the Bacon, Egg & Swiss Croissant gives you a full breakfast sandwich for 420 calories. Your best pick depends on whether you want size, price or a lighter start.

Breakfast Baconator. This is the heavyweight: grilled sausage, bacon, a fresh-cracked egg, American cheese and Swiss cheese sauce on a potato bun. It has 630 calories and 30 grams of protein for about $4.59 to $5.30.

Croissants. The Bacon, Egg & Swiss Croissant is the lighter pick at 420 calories. The sausage version climbs to 590. The Maple Bacon Chicken Croissant (540 calories) adds lightly breaded chicken, bacon and maple butter if you want something sweet and salty.

Biscuits. The Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit is the classic Southern-style order at 590 calories. The Honey Buddy Chicken Biscuit (490) is the chicken option. If you only want something small, the Egg & Cheese Biscuit (370) costs about $2.19 to $2.89.

Burritos. Both burritos are large, at 700 calories for bacon and 820 for sausage, with more than 2,100 mg of sodium each. They carry the most protein on the breakfast menu, 31 to 32 grams.

Something sweet. Four French toast sticks have 460 calories and cost about $2.99 to $3.19. The Cinnabon Pull-Apart (550 calories) is sold all day.

What Wendy's breakfast deals and specials are there?

The best Wendy's breakfast deal is the $3 Breakfast Biggie Bundle, which lets you pick two items at participating restaurants. Beyond that, breakfast combos and the Wendy's Rewards app are where the savings are.

Breakfast Biggie Bundle. Twenty of the 23 stores we checked on Oct. 31, 2026, listed it at exactly $3. The choices in Wendy's ordering data include items such as a Sausage Biscuit, an Egg & Cheese Biscuit, small Seasoned Potatoes and a medium coffee. Bought separately, a Sausage Biscuit and an Egg & Cheese Biscuit would cost about $4.40 or more, so the bundle saves real money.

Combos. A Breakfast Baconator combo cost about $6.79 to $7.69 in our sample, and a Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit combo about $6.19 to $6.79. Combos add a side, usually Seasoned Potatoes, and a drink.

Rewards points. Wendy's Rewards gives 10 points per $1 spent on food. Breakfast rewards include small Seasoned Potatoes for 200 points, 4-piece French toast sticks for 400, a biscuit sandwich for 450, a croissant for 500 and the Breakfast Baconator for 600. Points expire 365 days after you earn them.

App offers change often, so check the Offers tab before you order. For the full list of current value menus, see our Wendy's deals page.

Can you get a Frosty, fries or burgers during Wendy's breakfast?

Usually not. In Wendy's ordering system, burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, chili and the Frosty belong to the lunch menu, which starts at 10:30 a.m.

A handful of items are listed for all day, including fountain drinks, lemonades, hot coffee, cold brew, Apple Bites, cookies and the Cinnabon Pull-Apart. So if you want something sweet before 10:30, the Pull-Apart or a cookie is your best bet.

Some restaurants may make a lunch item before 10:30 if you ask, since everything is cooked to order, but it is not standard and it can slow the line. Do not count on it at a busy drive-thru.

What is the lightest or most filling Wendy's breakfast?

For a lighter Wendy's breakfast, an Egg & Cheese Biscuit (370 calories) or a Bacon, Egg & Swiss Croissant (420) is your best bet. For the most food, the sausage burrito (820) or a Breakfast Baconator with potatoes goes well past 900 calories.

A few practical pairings, using Wendy's own numbers:

  • Light: Bacon, Egg & Swiss Croissant plus a medium black coffee: about 425 calories and 18 grams of protein.
  • Middle: Honey Buddy Chicken Biscuit plus Apple Bites: about 525 calories.
  • Big: Breakfast Baconator plus small Seasoned Potatoes: about 910 calories and 33 grams of protein.

Sodium adds up fast at breakfast. The burritos each carry more than 2,100 mg, and even the Breakfast Baconator has 1,410 mg. For more calorie numbers across the full menu, see our Wendy's nutrition guide, and compare other chains' cutoffs in our fast food breakfast hours roundup. Yes, Wendy's serves breakfast daily at most U.S. locations, typically from about 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Some stores start later on Sundays or follow mall and airport hours. The Wendy's app shows whether your chosen restaurant is serving breakfast right now.

How late does Wendy's serve breakfast on weekends?

Wendy's breakfast normally ends at 10:30 a.m. on weekends too; we found no national extended weekend breakfast. Sunday start times can be later at some restaurants. Because each franchise owner sets exact hours, open the Wendy's app or store locator and pick your restaurant to see what it is serving.

The Wendy's Breakfast Baconator cost about $4.59 to $5.30 on its own in our October 2026 check of U.S. stores, and about $6.79 to $7.69 as a combo with Seasoned Potatoes and a drink. It has 630 calories and 30 grams of protein. Wendy's Rewards members can redeem one for 600 points.

What is in the Wendy's Breakfast Biggie Bundle?
