Dunkin' Free Coffee, Deals & Rewards (2026)

How do you get Dunkin' free coffee?

There are two reliable ways to get Dunkin' free coffee: watch for the chain's one-day promotions, and save up Dunkin' Rewards points.

The promotions happen a few times a year and almost always run through the Dunkin' app. In 2026, Dunkin' Rewards members could get a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase on National Coffee Day, September 29, according to NBC Boston. Earlier, on May 19, Dunkin' gave away 1 million free hot or iced coffees in a one-day app promotion; cold brew and extra-large hot coffees were excluded. Both offers are over, and we do not list promo codes because they expire quickly.

The points route is slower but steady. A hot or iced coffee or tea in any size costs 600 points, according to an April 2026 breakdown of Dunkin's reward chart. At 10 points per dollar, that takes about $60 of spending. If you just want coffee for less, the $6 Meal Deal below is a better use of your money than waiting for points.

Is Dunkin' coffee free today?

Usually not. Dunkin' does not run a standing free coffee offer, so on most days a coffee is free only if you redeem points or have a reward loaded in the app. Open the Offers section of the Dunkin' app to see what your account has.

Most current promotions are bonus points rather than free items. Dunkin's October and November 2026 announcements list these Rewards offers:

• Mondays through Nov. 30: 100 bonus points on beverages when you order ahead.
• Nov. 17: 4X points on Avengers beverages.
• Nov. 19: 3X points on beverages ordered ahead.
• Nov. 23: 4X points on espresso drinks for National Espresso Day.

Two short offers ran Oct. 30 to 31, 2026 (3X points on half dozen and dozen donuts and 25- or 50-count MUNCHKINS) and Nov. 4 to 5, 2026 (3X points on all beverages).

Several of these must be activated in the app before you order, and they apply only at participating stores, so check the offer terms first.

What is the Dunkin' $6 Meal Deal?

The Dunkin' $6 Meal Deal gets you a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich, an order of hash browns and a medium hot or iced coffee for $6. Dunkin' confirmed that version on September 30, 2026. Substitutions are not allowed and participation varies by store.

It is a real saving. A Bacon, Egg and Cheese on an English muffin typically costs about $4.99 to $5.61 by itself, hash browns about $1.49 to $2.29, and a medium iced coffee about $3.29 to $3.99. Bought separately, that is roughly $9.77 to $11.89. With the sandwich on an English muffin, six hash browns and black coffee, the meal comes to about 535 calories.

The bundle has changed during the year. In January 2026, Dunkin' promoted a $5 Meal Deal with a Wake-Up Wrap, hash browns and a medium coffee, and in June The Daily Meal described the $6 deal as a medium coffee with two Wake-Up Wraps. Dunkin's online menu also lists an $8 Meal Deal, but we could not confirm what it includes. Check the app for your store's current version, and see every sandwich on our Dunkin' breakfast menu guide. Our cheapest fast food meals guide compares it with other chains.

How do Dunkin' Rewards work?

Dunkin' Rewards is free to join in the Dunkin' app or at dunkinrewards.com. You earn 10 points per $1 on qualifying purchases, and rewards start at 150 points, or about $15 of spending.

Visit 12 times in a calendar month and you unlock Boosted Status, which raises earning to 12 points per $1 for three months and adds members-only offers. If you stop by most weekdays, Boosted Status is easy to keep.

The redemption chart rewards small items best. Based on the April 2026 breakdown, 150 points buys a small treat such as hash browns or 3 MUNCHKINS, 300 points buys a classic donut, 600 points buys a coffee or tea in any size, and 900 points buys a breakfast sandwich. Because the coffee reward covers any size, redeem it on a large rather than a small to get more for the same 600 points. Our fast food rewards apps ranking compares Dunkin' with 14 other programs.

Does Dunkin' give a free birthday drink?

No, the Dunkin' birthday reward is bonus points, not a free drink. Dunkin' Rewards members earn 3X points on purchases made the day before, the day of and the day after their birthday. At the standard rate, that is 30 points per dollar.

To get it, add your birthday to your Dunkin' Rewards profile and scan your Rewards ID or order in the app on those days. Three days of triple points can add up if you plan around them. For example, buying a dozen donuts for a party during your birthday window earns three times the usual points on that order.

Does Dunkin' do Free Donut Day?

Yes. On National Donut Day, June 5, 2026, Dunkin' gave customers a free donut with any beverage purchase, according to CBS Boston. National Donut Day falls on the first Friday in June, so watch the Dunkin' app in early June 2027 for the next offer.

Outside that day, Dunkin's donut deals are mostly bonus points on boxes, such as the 3X points on half dozens, dozens and 25- or 50-count MUNCHKINS on October 30 and 31, 2026. Prices for singles, dozens and MUNCHKINS are on our Dunkin' donuts page.

Are there Dunkin' coupons online?

Dunkin' puts its offers in the app instead of printable coupons. Every promotion we found for 2026 required a Dunkin' Rewards account, an offer activated in the app, or both. We do not publish codes, because Dunkin' ties its offers to app accounts and set dates.

Two money tips work all year. First, buy donuts by the dozen, which typically brings the cost per donut to about $1.17 to $1.37. Second, plain black or milk-only coffee keeps the price down, because flavor swirls and non-dairy milk each typically add about $0.75. For office orders, a Box O' Joe serves ten small cups. For the full price list, see the main Dunkin' menu.
