What Refreshers does Starbucks have?

Starbucks has three year-round Refresher flavors in 2026: Strawberry Açaí, Mango Dragonfruit and Mango Strawberry. Mango Strawberry joined the permanent menu on April 7, 2026, and is shaken with freeze-dried strawberries. Seasonal flavors rotate in on top.

This year's seasonal Refreshers so far:

  • Summer 2026 (from May 12): the Tropical Butterfly Refresher, made on a new passionfruit guava base with mango pineapple pearls and a butterfly pea flower infusion for color. The coconut milk version was called the Butterfly Drink.
  • July 14, 2026: blended, frozen Energy Refreshers, including a limited Passionfruit Guava flavor.
  • Holiday 2026 (from Nov. 5): the new Apple Pomegranate Refresher with pomegranate-flavored popping pearls, plus Snowy Apple, made with coconut milk instead of water.

We did not see a new Refresher in the fall 2026 launch on Aug. 25, which centered on the Pumpkin Spice Latte, the Chaider and an Iced Banana Bread Latte. We also could not confirm whether the Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher is still sold, so check the app if that is your usual order. Seasonal drinks leave when the season ends.

How the Starbucks Refreshers menu works: water, lemonade or coconut milk

Every Starbucks Refresher can be made three ways. With water, it is the lightest and most tart. With lemonade, it is sweeter and tangier. With coconut milk, it turns creamy and pastel, and those versions get their own names, like the Pink Drink.

Since April 7, 2026, you can also pick between three caffeine levels for any flavor: classic, Energy (extra caffeine and B vitamins) and caffeine-free. That makes the Starbucks Energy Refreshers menu as big as the classic one. Add-ons such as cold foam (about $1.25) or mango syrup (about $0.80 for a syrup) work on top of any base. Our Starbucks secret menu page has a few combinations built from these options.

What is in the Starbucks Pink Drink?

The Pink Drink at Starbucks is a Strawberry Açaí Refresher made with coconut milk instead of water, served over ice. The coconut milk is why it tastes more like a light strawberry shake than a juice.

It typically costs about $5.95 for a standard order, about 50 cents more than a plain Strawberry Açaí Refresher at about $5.45. Because it is a Refresher, you can order it as an Energy Pink Drink for more caffeine or caffeine-free for a late-day treat. For ingredient and allergen details, open it in the Starbucks app.

How much caffeine is in Starbucks Refreshers?

Classic Starbucks Refreshers contain about 25 to 100 mg of caffeine depending on size, and Energy Refreshers contain about 100 to 175 mg, according to Starbucks figures reported by Restaurant Dive. Starbucks lists a grande Mango Strawberry Energy Refresher at 125 mg. For comparison, a tall Pike Place Roast has 235 to 290 mg.

The caffeine comes from the Refresher base, which uses green coffee extract rather than brewed coffee, so these drinks do not taste like coffee. If you want none at all, ask for caffeine-free. See our Starbucks nutrition page for more caffeine comparisons.

How much are Starbucks Refreshers?

Starbucks Refreshers typically cost about $5.45 for a standard order, and coconut milk drinks like the Pink Drink about $5.95. Prices change with size, city and store. Refreshers are one of the few drinks you can order in a Trenta, about 30 oz; expect it to cost more than a Venti. Our Starbucks sizes and prices page explains each cup.

If you collect Stars, the 200-Star reward covers a handcrafted drink up to $10, which easily covers a Refresher. The full price list is on our Starbucks menu page.

How to make a strawberry refresher like Starbucks at home

Starbucks does not publish its Refresher base recipe, so a homemade version is an approximation. This is our simple method for one 16 oz drink:

  1. Muddle 4 sliced strawberries in a tall glass.
  2. Add 1/2 cup white grape juice and 1/2 cup cold water.
  3. For a little caffeine, swap half the water for chilled green tea.
  4. Fill with ice, stir and taste. Add a squeeze of lime if it needs more tartness.

For a Pink Drink-style version, replace the water with coconut milk. For a lemonade version, replace it with lemonade.
