What is on the Sonic breakfast menu?

Sonic's breakfast lineup has four types of items: breakfast burritos, TOASTER sandwiches on Texas toast, brioche breakfast sandwiches and French Toast Sticks. All six drive-ins we checked carried the same core items in November 2026.

The burritos are the heart of the menu. There are plain bacon and sausage versions, two Jr. burritos, the SuperSONIC Breakfast Burrito with sausage, egg, cheese, tots, onions, tomatoes and jalapeños, and the Ultimate Meat & Cheese with bacon, sausage, tots, egg and cheese sauce.

Sonic's nutrition guide also lists biscuit sandwiches, a CroisSONIC and ham versions of several items. These are marked as optional items for select stores, and none of the six drive-ins we checked offered them. The table below shows what was on the menu, with prices and calories. How long does Sonic serve breakfast?

Sonic serves breakfast all day, from the moment a drive-in opens until it closes. There is no cutoff time like the 10:30 a.m. switch at many other chains.

You can see this in Sonic's online menu. From 4 to 11 a.m., a "Breakfast" section sits at the top. After 11 a.m., the same burritos, TOASTERs and French Toast Sticks move into a "Breakfast All Day" section, and they stay orderable until closing.

How much is a Sonic breakfast burrito?

A bacon or sausage Breakfast Burrito cost $3.69 to $3.99 at the six Sonic drive-ins we checked on Nov. 1, 2026. The SuperSONIC and Ultimate Meat & Cheese burritos both cost $4.89 to $5.49.

The Jr. burritos are the budget pick. They are smaller, at 270 to 280 calories, and the price varies more than any other breakfast item. One store in Oklahoma City charged $1.99, while one in Plano, Texas, charged $3.19.

You can also make any burrito a combo with tots or Groovy Fries and a medium drink. A bacon or sausage burrito combo cost $7.19 to $8.29, and a SuperSONIC or Ultimate combo cost $8.19 to $9.19.

Which Sonic breakfast sandwich should you get?

Pick a TOASTER if you want something big and crunchy, or a brioche sandwich if you want a smaller, softer bun. The Bacon Breakfast TOASTER stacks egg, bacon and cheese on two thick slices of Texas toast. It has 470 calories and cost $3.99 to $4.69. The sausage version has 570 calories.

The brioche breakfast sandwiches are labeled as a local favorite in Sonic's app, yet all six stores we checked sold them. They cost $3.99 to $4.59, with 440 calories for bacon and 530 for sausage.

If you want something sweet, French Toast Sticks come four to an order for $3.49 to $3.99. A TOASTER combo with a side and medium drink cost $7.59 to $8.49.

What coffee does Sonic serve at breakfast?

Sonic sells hot coffee and cold brew iced coffee. Hot coffee cost $1.99 to $2.49 at our six stores, and a regular 16-ounce black coffee has 0 calories.

The cold brew comes in two flavors, Original and French Vanilla, and both are poured over ice with sweet cream. A small cost $2.59 to $3.19 and a medium $3.29 to $3.99. A medium French Vanilla Cold Brew has 260 calories. Simply Orange juice, at $2.49 to $3.59 a bottle, rounds out the breakfast drinks.

How many calories are in Sonic breakfast items?

Sonic breakfast items run from 270 to 820 calories before sides or drinks. The Jr. burritos are the lightest, at 270 for bacon and 280 for sausage. Regular bacon and sausage burritos land at 470 and 490, and the brioche bacon sandwich at 440.

Two things push the numbers up. The SuperSONIC and Ultimate burritos have tots rolled inside, which helps explain why the Ultimate reaches 820 calories. And sodium is high across breakfast: the Ultimate has 2,190 mg, the Bacon Breakfast TOASTER 1,940 mg and even a regular bacon burrito 1,540 mg.

What is the best breakfast value at Sonic?

The Jr. Breakfast Burrito is the cheapest way to eat breakfast at Sonic, especially at stores that charge $1.99. For a fuller meal, a bacon or sausage burrito at under $4 gives you 23 to 25 grams of protein.

The French Toast Sticks Combo is a good deal for kids or a sweet tooth. It pairs the sticks with a medium drink for $5.29 to $5.89. For the most food, the Ultimate Meat & Cheese Breakfast Burrito has 820 calories and 29 grams of protein for about $5.

If protein per dollar is your goal, the regular burritos beat the Jr. size. A bacon burrito gives you 25 grams for $3.69 to $3.99, while a Jr. bacon burrito gives 13 grams for $1.99 to $3.19. At stores that charge more than $2 for the Jr., the full-size burrito is the better buy. Skipping the combo saves money too: a burrito combo costs about $3.50 to $4.30 more than the burrito alone, so order a mini drink instead if you just want something to sip.
