Sonic Menu Specials Today: Big Deal Meals, $1.99 Menu and App Offers

What are the Sonic menu specials today?

As of Nov. 1, 2026, Sonic's national menu specials are the two Big Deal Meals and the $1.99 Menu. We checked the online menus at six drive-ins in Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee, Arizona and Missouri, and all six carried the same lineup at the same deal prices.

Everything else is personal. Sonic's old deals page now sends you to its SONIC Rewards page, and offers such as free items or bonus points show up inside the app for members. That means two people can open the app on the same day and see different deals.

The table below lists what is on offer and what you get. Regular prices for every item are on the Sonic menu.

How much is the Big Deal Meal at Sonic?

The Big Deal Meal costs $7 or $9, and the price was the same at every store we checked. The $7 version comes with a SONIC Cheeseburger, medium tots or fries, a medium drink and your choice of sundae. The $9 version swaps the sundae for a mini SONIC Blast.

When it launched in June 2026, the $7 meal came with small chicken bites instead of dessert. By fall, the sundae had taken their place.

The savings are real. A regular SONIC Cheeseburger Combo, with the same side and drink, cost $9.19 to $10.39 at our six stores, and a sundae added another $2.89 to $3.29. Bought separately, the same meal would run about $12.08 to $13.68, so the $7 deal saves roughly $5 to $6.70.

It is a big meal, though. A SONIC Cheeseburger (700 calories), medium tots (360), a medium Coca-Cola (170) and a Hot Fudge Sundae (460) add up to about 1,690 calories. Swap the soda for unsweet tea or Diet Coke and the fries for tots, or the other way around, to adjust.

The product listing notes that the price can change if you modify the meal, for example by adding bacon or upsizing.

What is on the Sonic $1.99 Menu?

The $1.99 Menu has five items: a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger (400 calories), a Garlic Parmesan Ranch Crispy Tender Wrap (330), a Cheesy Baja Crispy Tender Wrap (290), a Vanilla Soft Serve Cup (300) and a small BARQ'S Root Beer Float (290).

The burger and both wraps were $1.99 at all six stores. The other two were not. The soft serve cup was $1.99 at four of six stores and up to $2.59 elsewhere, and the float ranged from $1.99 to $4.69 even though it sits in the $1.99 section. Check the price in the app before you count on it.

Pairing a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger with a wrap gives you a filling lunch for $3.98 before tax.

Are Sonic deals the same at every drive-in?

The headline prices are. The $7 and $9 Big Deal Meals and the $1.99 burger and wraps cost exactly the same at all six stores we checked, from Georgia to Arizona. That is not true of the rest of the menu. A regular SONIC Cheeseburger ranged from $5.29 to $6.29, and a medium shake from $4.49 to $4.99.

Two things can still differ. Some $1.99 Menu items, such as the root beer float, were priced higher at some stores. And app offers are tied to your SONIC Rewards account, so your deals may not match a friend's. Many promotions also run only at participating stores, so check your drive-in in the app.

Does Sonic have a Tuesday special?

Not on its national menu right now. Sonic used to run half-price cheeseburgers after 5 p.m. on Tuesdays for online and app orders. WRAL listed that offer in 2021 at participating drive-ins, and it excluded combos and add-ons.

In November 2026, we found no Tuesday deal on sonicdrivein.com, on its rewards page or in the online menus of the six stores we checked. A drive-in can still run its own local promotion, and SONIC Rewards sends weekly offers that may land on a Tuesday, so look in the app before you go. If you want a cheap burger any day of the week, the $1.99 Jr Bacon Cheeseburger is the closest thing to the old deal.

Does Sonic still have 2 for $5, 2 for $7 or a $6 meal deal?

No. None of those deals appeared on Sonic's website or on the online menus of the six drive-ins we checked on Nov. 1, 2026. Sonic's value lineup in 2026 is built around the $1.99 Menu and the $7 and $9 Big Deal Meals instead.

If you see an older post promising a 2 for $5 mix-and-match menu, treat it as out of date. You can build a similar deal yourself: any two items from the $1.99 Menu cost $3.98.

What deals come with SONIC Rewards?

SONIC Rewards, which launched in the app on April 6, 2026, is where most of Sonic's other deals live. You earn 10 points per dollar, rising to 11 at Star status (10 visits a year) and 12 at Legend status (30 visits). In November 2026, Sonic's rewards page offered a free burger for joining.

Other perks include:

• Birthday reward: a corn dog or a small shake.
• Weekly and personal offers: these rotate. In May 2026, for example, members could get a free SONIC Smasher with a $5 purchase, half-price small Classic Shakes and $2 snacks.
• Legend perks: each visit, Legend members pick half-price drinks and slushes, a free snack or side (once a week), or $2 off a $10 order. Our Sonic drink menu guide covers half-price drinks in detail.

App offers usually come with limits. The May 2026 offers, for example, were one per member, could not be combined, and did not work with combos or third-party delivery. Our fast food rewards apps comparison shows how Sonic stacks up.

How do you get the best value at Sonic?

Start with the Big Deal Meal if you want a full meal, and the $1.99 Menu if you want a snack. A few more ways to save:

• Size down drinks. A mini soda cost $1.29 to $1.99 at our stores, while an RT 44 soda cost $3.29 to $3.79.
• Pick a mini dessert. A mini Blast or shake costs about $1.20 less than a medium; see the Sonic shakes menu.
• Feed kids with a Wacky Pack. Kids meals with a side, drink and toy cost $4.19 to $5.19.
• Order ahead in the app. You earn points on every order, and app-only offers only work there.
• Skip third-party delivery for deals. Delivery menus can be priced differently, and Sonic's app offers have excluded third-party orders.
